Why BPC-157 Prices Vary Between Vendors
What drives BPC-157 pricing differences. Synthesis purity, testing costs, vial sizes and markup structures explained with real price data from 2 sellers.
BPC-157 is not a commodity with a single market price. Two sellers listing the same peptide at the same milligram count can differ by 40% in cost, and the reasons behind that gap matter more than the gap itself. We pulled current pricing from the two US sellers tracked on this site and calculated the per-milligram cost for each option. Price data was verified on October 9, 2026.
Price Factors in the Peptide Market
Several variables determine what a seller charges for a vial of BPC-157. Synthesis purity matters because higher-purity peptides require more purification steps, and each pass loses material. Third-party testing adds a fixed cost per lot, typically $300 to $800 depending on the lab and test panel. Vial size affects pricing because packaging, labeling, and shipping costs are nearly identical for a 5 mg and 10 mg vial, so fixed costs get divided by fewer milligrams in a smaller vial.
Real Price Data from Two Sellers
| Seller | Vial Size | Price | Price per mg | COA Published |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peptide God | 5 mg | $34.95 | $6.99 | No |
| Peptide God | 10 mg | $59.95 | $6.00 | No |
| Real Peptides | 10 mg | $43.20 | $4.32 | Yes (Freedom Diagnostics + Kovera) |
Real Peptides' 10 mg vial at $4.32 per milligram is 28% less than Peptide God's 10 mg option and 38% less than their 5 mg vial.
What Drives the Price Difference
Real Peptides publishes per-lot COAs from Freedom Diagnostics and Kovera, reporting HPLC purity of at least 99% and endotoxin screening below 0.1 EU/mg. That testing costs money. However, the seller paying for testing is the cheaper option, which suggests testing costs are not the primary driver of the gap. It may indicate Real Peptides operates at higher volume or has negotiated better synthesis supplier rates.
Peptide God does not publish COAs. If they are not paying for independent testing, that is a cost they avoid, yet their prices are higher. In most markets, the product with more quality documentation costs more, not less.
Real Peptides offers additional discounts that widen the gap further: 10% off via Bank Pay (dropping the 10 mg to $38.88, or $3.89/mg), and pack pricing at 5 vials (5% off), 10 vials (10% off), and 20+ vials (20% off). Peptide God does not advertise volume or payment discounts.
Is Cheaper Always Better?
No. Price alone is a poor indicator of quality in the research peptide market. The cheapest vial might contain accurately dosed, high-purity peptide, or it might contain degraded material or nothing useful at all. Without independent testing documentation, there is no way to distinguish between these possibilities from the price tag alone.
The more relevant question is what you get for the price. At $4.32 per milligram, Real Peptides includes per-lot COAs from two independent labs, HPLC-confirmed purity at 99% or above, and endotoxin screening. At $6.00 per milligram, Peptide God includes the vial and no published documentation. The cost per unit of verified quality is not close.
An untested product is not automatically impure. Some sellers skip testing for business reasons but still source competent synthesis. The risk is that the buyer cannot distinguish between a seller who skips testing because the product is fine and one who skips testing because the results would be unflattering. Documentation eliminates that ambiguity.

FAQ - BPC-157 Pricing
Why is Real Peptides cheaper despite offering more testing?
Possible explanations include higher sales volume reducing per-unit synthesis costs, lower margins, or more favorable supplier agreements. The 50% sale price at Real Peptides ($43.20, reduced from $86.40) may also be a promotional strategy. At the non-sale price, Real Peptides would be more expensive per milligram than Peptide God's 10 mg option.
Does the price include shipping?
No. Real Peptides charges $9.95 for standard domestic shipping, waived on orders over $250. Peptide God does not publish shipping costs. Shipping should be factored into any per-milligram calculation for a single-vial order.
